You will think of me as biased, but I am sure that Pakistan is not what everyone thinks. It is a land with so much unexplored scenery and locations that one could get lost in its magical lands. Yes, you heard it right. I was not a traveler myself but visiting this breathtaking and unexplored land filled with amazing people who look like they can help you whenever you need it. The hospitality of these people amazes me ever after we are here otherwise all the time in news channels. But what I understood is that just politics and nothing more than that. The Pakistan I saw was something else, something more extraordinary and more refreshing. It is the untouched beauty nobody explored because of the negative perception, but it’s changing now.

Imagine visiting a country where when the landscape changes, the seasons change with it. You see those highest mountains in the northern areas, those peaks that hide in the clouds. And when they are naked, you see them covered in snow. I found out that the world’s 2nd highest mountain was in Pakistan, and I would have thought of climbing it if I knew how it is done. Yeah, that last line is a joke but accurate as well.

Gilgit and Swat are some of the northern areas that I fell in love on first sight. Tell me if I have not told you about the 2nd highest plateau in the world. I am talking about Deosai National Park or Deosai Plains. The unmatched and unexplored scenery in Pakistan amazed me with every city I visited and every location I reached.

Yes, I told you about the change of seasons with landscapes. At one moment in different regions of the country, people experience 3 or 4 distinct seasons. For example, when we can down from northern areas to the plains of Punjab, I saw more fields and lands with all these different crops.

Traveling more towards the sea level, we started seeing plains with no greenery at all. Soon, I noticed that those green lands turned into deserts, and wherever you know, you can see only sand and these mirages at the horizon.

And at last, we were able to see the most unique and fast-developing area of Baluchistan, Pakistan. It is called Gwadar, and it is essential because of its warm and deep-water access. We went for a boat ride and then for a dive for its coral sight-seeing. At the end of our trip, I concluded one thing, and it was that the security situation, regardless of what news media told us, was improved. We did not get into any trouble, and most importantly, security forces escorted us.

Finally, a long road trip to the coastal areas of Pakistan, and on the way, we see the famous statue. When they last visited Pakistan, Angelina Jolie named a long-standing peak in the Baluchistan area “The Princess of Hope.” When you see it from afar, it gives off the image of a woman standing among the sandy peaks.

I have one thing to say at the end of this writing: Pakistan is an untouched beauty. I was lucky that I got the chance to visit and explore such an important country in the world. I recommend seeing it this year to anyone reading this, and that is my personal opinion. My INSTA (privat)
