This year I decided to go to a different part of the world. I had different countries in mind, but I wanted a place where I could travel in April without getting cold and at the same time have fun. While I was thinking about where would be appropriate for my children to enjoy, Dubai came to my mind and I immediately bought plane tickets. I also made reservations. It was a very good idea. It has been a really enjoyable week for us. Before I left, I had things to do in my mind. One of them, of course, was safari in the desert. I can tell you this. It was an incredible experience. Actually, I have to admit that I had a lot of fun, even though it was too exciting and a little dangerous for me. There are many tour company alternatives. We chose this company on recommendation. Tripadviser reviews were very good. They picked us up from the address we were staying at and took us to the desert. When we came to the desert, I, who had never ridden a horse in my life, rode a camel.
Oh my god what kind of animal is this. It is difficult to get on a camel and even harder to get off. But I succeeded. Then we got on SUVs. They deflated the tires before getting on. They do this to be safer on the sands in the desert. and here we go. I realized that the desert is not a flat place. There are high sand dunes everywhere. Cars go over these hills. You can’t even imagine how much the car shook as it was leaving. Sometimes we got down and took some great pictures. In this way, the adventure continued for almost 2 hours.
Then we had a nice dinner in the desert and the tour company took us to the address where we were staying. It is an activity that should be added to the to-do list before I die.
Dubai is a very interesting place indeed. It’s like turning a completely desert country into a paradise. Artificial islands, lush green parks with incredible irrigation systems, Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center I’ve ever seen, and of course the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. Having come this far, it would be impossible not to climb this high tower. I really can’t believe I got to 124 floors in just 60 seconds. The view is very impressive. It’s like all Dubai is under my feet. They built a glass floor inside the tower. It was very nice to walk on, but no one said I would be in for a surprise while walking. You can see from the video how surprised and even scared I was.
Almost all the brands in the world are in Dubai Mall.
It would not be possible not to swim in the sea while coming to Dubai. It has very beautiful beaches. The sand is very fine and clean. April is a very good date to go to the sea and visit Dubai. It was about 30 degrees. I guess it wouldn’t be this fun in the summer. You can transform the city, but it is almost impossible to change the desert climate. I can’t wait to visit again.
