It’s really hard to make sense of it all!
In a few days it will be time change again and I have had a problem with this for years.
Not with changing the clocks or being awake less or more when I have to be.
But rather with the logic, let’s take a look at that:
My question is: when there is lightning, you should count the seconds until the thunder so that you can estimate the distance to the storm.
- What is it like when it flashes exactly at the time change? … Does the thunder come an hour later? You can count until you go mad, can’t you?
- And at the time change at the end of October, when there’s lightning? … Isn’t that when the thunder comes an hour before the lightning? What can you do then? Count backwards? And where do you start, at 100? It’s all so confusing!
It’s really hard to make sense of it all, which is why I’m always awake every year and you can see me looking up at the sky waiting for the lightning to strike at exactly the right time.
So please give me an enlightening explanation, if anyone is kind enough to find the time.
