Unfortunately, in as much as the church is doing a huge part of sensitizing their congregation about COVID-19, they recently lost a senior Reverend to COVID-19 that has left the church shaken and made people to believe that COVID-19 is real.

The young living in cities and Towns like Nairobi have been advised not to travel upcountry where their elderly parents and relatives reside to protect them.

As you can see from the above, they are all wearing masks and observing social and physical distance.The government is becoming concerned about the high number of health professionals who are contracting the virus which might negatively affect Kenya’s overall COVID-19 preparedness.

The transport sector has been negatively affected by the corona virus. Drivers have to carry half the capacity to maintain the social distance, they have to fumigate the vehicles daily but unfortunately,they only do this for fear of police officers and often flout the rules hence increasing the risk of spreading the virus.

Kenyans are wearing face masks more because of fear of being arrested more than for their own personal protection against COVID-19 pandemic. From the above, Kenyans have quickly adapted to the “new normal” of behaving in public.

A group of youths engaged in charity work of donating food items to a children’s home during the hard economic times occasioned by COVID-19. The youths got so carried away that they temporarily forgot to observe COVID-19 guidelines of social distancing and wearing masks.
